TownFolk is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents and businesses in the LaPlace neighborhood of Lafayette, Louisiana, and an organization I have been a part of since 2015. By creating a strong network of positive, forward-thinking citizens, and partnering with like-minded local businesses and organizations, we hope to restore pride to our historic neighborhood. I regularly volunteer in various ways for TownFolk, including creating artwork and graphics from time to time.
Victory Festival Artwork
I created the artwork for TownFolk’s 2018 Victory Festival poster, which was also sold as a square print.
The Victory Festival is our annual fundraiser for the Victory Garden, a community-garden in the LaPlace neighborhood, created to honor Jillian Johnson.

TownFolk Table Logo and Flyer
TownFolk, in partnership with Whole Foods Market and Whole Cities Foundation, proudly brings a weekly fresh produce market to residents of the LaPlace neighborhood. Fruits and vegetables from the Victory Garden and Whole Foods Market are provided to our neighbors free of charge while supplies last every Saturday. I was excited to create the logo for this ongoing project as well as an informational flyer to kick the weekly event off. I aimed for this logo to showcase the process of packing these grocery bags.
