I recently wrapped up editing for an extremely fun and rewarding yee haw agenga photoshoot. And by “wrapped up”, I mean I finished for now because there are so many shots from this session that I love that I will very likely be going back in to edit even more later. But, it’s time to pause and start putting these bad girls out there!

Let me tell you a little about how this shoot came to be:

I met Chloe at the Kacey Musgraves on concert in New Orleans when I complimented her outfit after the show lights turned on. We watched the show right by each other the whole night, and I had noticed her outfit at the start of the show. It was everything needed for the perfect Golden Hour Tour lewk: fringe, lace, boots, rainbow earrings, brought stylishly together and topped off perfectly with a Neon Cowboys hat. Perfection. ✨ As someone who had through long and hard about her own lewk for the night, I had a lot of appreciation for the styling.

The next day I realized we both were already following each other on Instagram after she left a comment on my show photos. When I saw that she's also a Lafayette local, I jumped at the opportunity to to photograph her and her concert outfit! I asked her if she would be interested in doing a shoot with me, and she was in. 🤠 A week later, this magical set was born.

During our session, it was as though the spirit of Kacey and her Golden Hour tour were with us. We literally had that beautiful golden hour light and were surrounded by butterflies in the field we set up in.

I love the serendipity of it all! I’m really happy to have had the chance to lean into something I wanted to do purely for the fun of it.
